Teachers say that children who come to the Lyman Allyn Art Museum encounter things they simply haven’t seen before. They learn to examine paintings and sculpture and to explore with others how they feel about them. These critical thinking skills help students excel in many ways, including in testing.

Most importantly, it excites their imaginations and leads them into a richer and more fulfilling life.
