From I-95 North
From I-95 Northbound take exit 83. Drive to the traffic light at the end of the ramp, then turn left onto Williams Street. Drive seven tenths of a mile, pass one traffic light, and the Museum driveway is on the right.

From I-95 South
From I-95 Southbound take exit 83 (Frontage Rd). Take Briggs Street / Coast Guard Academy Exit (this is a right hand exit). At the traffic light turn left onto Briggs Street. At the second traffic light turn left onto Williams Street. Drive two tenths of a mile and the Museum driveway is on the right.

From Route 395
Take Route 32 to New London. Pass Connecticut College, bear right onto the New Haven exit ramp. At the stop sign, turn right onto Briggs Street. At the second stop sign turn left onto Williams Street. Drive one tenth of a mile and the Museum driveway is on the right.

From Downtown New London
Drive North on Huntington Street. At the Williams Street traffic light turn right onto Williams Street. Drive seven tenths of a mile and the Museum driveway is on the right.

Parking
Parking at the Lyman Allyn is always free for all visitors. When you arrive, you’ll find parking in the gravel lot in front of the museum. Handicap parking is available in the lot beside the museum side entrance.

Tuesday – Saturday: 10 am — 5 pm
Sunday: 1 — 5 pm
Last admission at 4 pm

We are located just off I-95. Take Exit 83 and follow the cultural attraction signs.
