Lyman Allyn Museum
Join award-winning children’s authors Elizabeth Partridge and Kekla Magoon for a look at how children shaped the Civil Rights movement of the 1950’s and ‘60’s. We’ll explore issues of social justice and self-expression then and now and the big impact that even the youngest members of society can have.
The program will include:
- Presentations and book signings by award-winning young adult authors
- Q & A between authors and audience
- free creative writing workshop for kids ages 10 and up on self-expression in adversity.
