Lawrence Schiller has been a working journalist since the 1950s. Kennedy, Robert F.  Kennedy, Martin Luther King, Richard Nixon, Muhammed Ali and Marilyn Monroe to name just a few.  He was in Dallas the day that JFK was shot and in California as a witness to Bobby Kennedy’s shooting.  He has worked for such major publications as Life, Look, Newsweek, Paris Match and the Saturday Evening Post.   He moved into motion pictures by directing a portion of Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid with Paul Newman and Robert Redford.
