Christopher Bishop, educated at the University of Chicago and Yale University, is a dealer in Old Master Drawings, with an academic specialty in 17th and 18th century French and Italian drawings. He is opening a gallery this month on Madison Avenue in New York city. Bishop helped advise on the selection of objects in Brought to Light and was an advisor to the Lyman Allyn’s 2017 exhibition First Impressions: Master Drawings from the Collection.
Tanya Pohrt, curator at the Lyman Allyn, holds a Ph.D. in Art History from the University of Delaware, with a focus on American art. She curated the Lyman Allyn’s Louis Comfort Tiffany in New London gallery and was previously a Marcia Brady Tucker Fellow in American Paintings and Sculpture at the Yale University Art Gallery.
