8:30 AM - 9:30 AM
Lyman Allyn Art Museum
…. that’s all that is required of you when you begin your day with yoga in the galleries at the Lyman Allyn Art Museum. The soothing atmosphere among the art offers the perfect space for inspiration and reflection. Kripalu Yoga uses breathing techniques, physical postures and meditative qualities to provide an increased sense of mindfulness and wellbeing. Experienced together, art and yoga can offer new ways of experiencing the world.
Before the Museum opens its doors for the day, join us on the first and third Tuesdays at 8:30am in March, April and May. If you are new to yoga or have been practicing for years, this class is welcoming to all. Yoga instructor Marcia Gipstein is an experienced Kripalu-trained yoga teacher who looks forward to welcoming all and guiding you through a calm and reflective start to your day.
RSVP to 860.443.2545 ext.2129 or email us.
Walk-ins are welcome. Class size is limited to 15 people.
Class will begin promptly at 8:30 am. Our policy is first come, first practice. We ask that you please give yourself enough time to sign a liability release form, set up your mat, stretch, and settle in. Yoga mats are not provided. Please bring your own yoga mat, towel, and water.
