Join us for an evening reception and panel discussion of Lyman Allyn’s latest Near :: New exhibition, Stories of Resilience: Encountering Racism. Panelists include, attorney Lonnie Braxton, Rev. Florence Clarke, Sonalysts Board member Donetta Hodge, Dean of Institutional Equity and Inclusion at Connecticut College John McKnight, and Dr. Lynda B. Smith, Ph.D.

The panel will be moderated by Jerry Fischer, former Director of the Jewish Federation of Eastern Connecticut. Developed from the Jewish Federation’s Encountering Differences Program, Stories of Resilience paints a picture of remarkable successes in the face of daunting obstacles through personal photographs, artifacts, and video testimonies.
