Bank Square Books and Lyman Allyn Art Museum are excited to host a Ross King Talk and Book Signing for his upcoming (September) book, Mad Enchantment: Claude Monet and the Painting of the Water Lilies.

Mad Enchantment: Claude Monet and the Painting of the Water Lilies reveals the untold story of Monet’s “Water Lilies,” among the world’s most beloved and recognizable paintings, and the paintings for which Monet is most famous. As Ross King reveals in his story of both artist and masterpiece, these canvases belie the frustration Monet experienced while painting—his eyesight was failing, French newspapers were reporting he had retired, and a new generation of younger artists were challenging the achievements of impressionism.

Call 860-536-3795 or visit www.banksquarebooks.com for tickets.
