Free admission & parkingSummer Fest is our free, family friendly, community event, featuring food trucks, live entertainment (amplified, unplugged, performance and participatory!), and family friendly activities on the Museum grounds and inside the Museum. In the event of rain, everything but the food trucks will move indoors to the Museums galleries, auditorium, and art/dance studio.

Visitors are welcome to bring a blanket and explore the grounds of the Lyman Allyn, including the McCourt 9/11 Memorial Garden and the outdoor Sculpture Trail. The entire Museum will be open during this event, so you can explore all of our exhibits. It’s a perfect event to spend with friends and family. Bring them all!

12:30 – 1:15 pm | Azalea Drive: A wonderful mix of cover music from Stevie Wonder, Bruno Mars, Madonna, Justin Timberlake, Aerosmith and more. |
1:15 – 2:15 pm | Live Birds of Prey from A Place Called Hope. |
1:30 – 2:15 pm | Need to Know: Performing a repertoire of soft rock and cover band music. |
2:00 – 4:00 pm | Enjoy animals from the Denison Pequotsepos Nature Center. |
2:30 – 3:30 pm | Rivergods: Playing their own heartfelt harmony-rich folky/rootsy/rockish music. |
