Join Fallon & Wilkinson, Furniture Conservators, for a lecture entitled: Furniture as an Essential Element in the Narrative of American Art

Learning to examine furniture more closely will lead to a richer understanding of the object, how it was made and decorated, its historical context, and its current state of preservation. But how do we look at furniture? Striving for a better understanding of materials and tools that made the furniture will allow us to better appreciate humble domestic furnishings as historic story tellers as well as works of art. Please join us for a fun and informative lecture, as we go behind the ropes and take a closer look.

$15 per lecture members/$20 per lecture non-members
*Special discounted rate for all three lectures: $40 members/$55 non-members

For reservations please contact:  860-443-2545 x129 or info@lymanallyn.org
