Presenter: Thomas Venturella │ Owner, operator, and Senior Conservator of Venturella Studio, NYC

Join us as Thomas Venturella shares fascinating details about the two stained glass windows he helped us restore in our Louis Comfort Tiffany in New London exhibition. He will paint a picture of Tiffany Studios and its contemporaries and discuss the popularity of glassmaking at the turn of the 20th century.

Venturella, a graduate of the School of The Art Institute of Chicago and the University of Chicago, established the Venturella Studio in 1985 where he remains owner, operator, and senior conservator, overseeing all studio projects. He is a member of both the International Institute for Conservation (IIC) and the American Institute for Conservation (AIC) and was awarded “Professional Associate” status by AIC making him the first stained glass conservator in the United States to be so recognized.
