Presenter: Arlie Sulka │ Owner of the world renowned gallery, Lillian Nassau LLC, in NYC

Although Tiffany windows and lamps have been the gold standard for stained glass making from their outset, it is the glass that found its way into the world’s museums beginning in the 1890’s and continuing until the 1930’s when Tiffany Studios closed its doors forever. That trend continues today as museums add Tiffany glass to their permanent holdings. Ms. Sulka will give a brief chronology of Louis Tiffany’s oeuvre, with a concentration on collections of Tiffany glass in museums throughout the world.

Please RSVP to 860.443.2545 ext.2129 or email us.

Arlie Sulka, a known specialist and dealer in late 19th and early 20th century decorative arts, has been a devotee of the works of Louis Comfort Tiffany and the Tiffany Studios, particularly his blown glass, lamps, windows and ceramics.  Having over 30 years of experience in the field of antiques, Ms. Sulka lectures in museums around the country, has published articles, works as an appraisal consultant for private clients and various museums in North America and in Europe, and has been a part-time lecturer in the NYU Continuing Education Appraisal Studies Program.  She also serves on the Board of Directors of The National Antiques and Art Dealers Association of America, Inc.(NAADAA).  For twelve seasons, she has appeared as a guest appraiser on PBS’ Antiques Roadshow.
