GET TO KNOW THE MUSEUM
We are not scheduling on-site group tours at this time. Please check back for new information and updates. Schools and organizations interested in participating in outreach programs should contact Sophia Gipstein at gipstein@lymanallyn.org or 860.443.2545 x 2140.
The Lyman Allyn houses a fascinating collection of over 17,000 objects from ancient times to the present; artworks from Africa, Asia, the Americas, and Europe, with particularly strong collections of American paintings, decorative arts, and Victorian toys and doll houses.
Led by experienced docents and educators, our guided tours introduce groups to the Museum’s collection and special exhibitions.
If you are interested in scheduling a group tour, please make reservations by calling the Education Department at 860.443.2545 ext. 2140 or email gipstein@lymanallyn.org. To ensure availability, please make reservations at least two weeks in advance.
