A Musical Time in the City
Sometimes it’s hard to take advantage of all that New York has to offer – the options are vast, time can be limited, and insider options are not readily available. Fortunately, Lyman Allyn friends are determined to make things easier and maximize your enjoyment! This winter, you and a guest can join Newt and Polly Merrill for dinner at the famed New York Yacht Club. After dinner, attend a chamber music concert led by violinist Mira Wang in the Club’s beautiful Model Room. You’ll be delighted to stay overnight at the classic Roosevelt Hotel because the following day you will enjoy a behind-the-scenes tour of the Metropolitan Opera. Concert date will be on a Monday evening in January, February, or March, and will need to be agreed upon with the Merrills when concert dates have been set.
George and Betsy’s Vienna
Enjoy an exquisite stay in Vienna fully customized for music lovers by George and Betsy White. Determine your own convenient dates between September 1 – December 15, 2019 and stay three nights at the spectacular Hotel Bristol in the heart of Vienna. Once your dates are fixed, musical concierge extraordinaire, George White, will provide expert advice to help you choose three unforgettable evenings of music. Once your concerts at the Staatsoper, Volksoper, and the Musikverein have been selected, pairs of the best tickets available will be provided along with recommendations for dining and other activities to your liking.
