Through superb exhibitions, a variety of engaging programs, and the expansion of Lyman Allyn Park as a vibrant cultural and educational destination, the Museum is strengthening its impact on the City of New London and our region.

Celebrate with us for an evening as the Museum transforms into a lively hub of nightlife and art. Sip signature cocktails, savor delicious small plates, dance to lively tunes, and engage in exciting online bidding—all while experiencing the magic of the Museum’s dynamic spaces.

Items/certificates will be available for pick up at the Lyman Allyn immediately after the auction closes and until June 6 at 4 pm. Please note that items will not be shipped.

Go to auctria.events/art-in-motion and click on the “Register” button in the top menu bar. If using a mobile phone, tap the button of three parallel horizontal lines (upper right corner) and click “Register” or “Sign In.” Fill out the form using your valid email address and cell phone number. You will be prompted to register a credit card for faster checkout. Complete your registration and then check your email to confirm that your email address is correct. You will be redirected to our online auction website, where you can start browsing and bidding. If you are already registered and want to sign in, go to auctria.events/art-in-motion and click the “Sign In” button. Auctria also offers the option of downloading its mobile app from the app store. You will be able to access our online auction from the app and sign in using your email and password or the personal access code given in your confirmation email upon registering.

Visit auctria.events/art-in-motion to access our auction website. It is a mobile-friendly website, allowing bidders to place bids from their desktop computers as well as their mobile devices. You must be a registered bidder and logged in to bid on items. Once logged in, browse the auction, select the item you would like to bid on, enter your bid amount into the “Amount Box” and click on the “Bid” button. A confirmation window will pop up asking if the bid is correct. Click “OK” to confirm or “Cancel” to clear your bid amount.

When bidders are outbid, they will receive a notification via an email and/or text message. 

Contact the Lyman Allyn by clicking on the email at the bottom of our auction website.

When the auction closes, winning bidders will receive an “Item Won Notification” email. You may also view your account summary via the “My Account” button in the top menu bar. 

Upon registering, you will be prompted to register a credit card for faster checkout. When the auction closes, winning bidders will receive a “Winning Bid Notification” email containing a pay online link.

Our cocktail party will take place inside.
Parking will be directed to the Museum’s main parking lot and Connecticut College’s south parking lot (our driveways are connected).
Savor delicious small plates provided by Coffees Country Market, paired with a selection of drinks from the bars.
Bid on our online auction of one-of-a-kind treasures and experiences and donate to support the Museum’s Yellow Bus Fund.
