Celebrate the opening of China from China with a fun afternoon of art, culture, and family activities. Learn about Chinese brush painting and create your own work, enjoy a tea tasting, witness a lion dance performance, and more!

Schedule of Events:
- 1-4pm: Tea Tasting with Valley Brook Tea
- For generations, Valley Brook cultivates three precious tea mountains with some of China’s most celebrated tea makers. Valley Brook proudly preserves the traditional tea-making techniques.
- 1-3 pm: Chinese Brush Painting with Eva Leong
- Make your own Chinese Brush style painting with artist Eva Leong. Eva Leong is a Mystic based artist who specializes in Chinese watercolor.
- 3:30 pm: Lion Dance performance
- The Lion Dance is woven into the fabric of Chinese culture and serves as a blessing, bringing good luck to the audience. The New London martial arts group, The Scholars Martial Hall, will lead this performance.
