Movies in the Park: With the New London Arts Council
Presented by the New London Arts Council
Sponsored by the Lyman Allyn Art Museum and the Garde Arts Center
New London Arts Council’s Movies in the Park is a free, family-friendly outdoor movie event designed to bring the community together. The goal is to offer residents a unique opportunity to enjoy blockbuster films under the stars while exploring local parks and recreational spaces. This summer, celebrate the 30th anniversary of Jumanji with a special screening of this beloved family classic. Pre-show entertainment will feature short films and video work by local artists, along with advertisements from area businesses and event sponsors.
This event is organized for the community by the community. Bring your own snacks & seating.
Date: Friday, August 15
Time: 8 – 11 pm (film begins at 9 pm sharp)
Where: Williams Park, 149 Broad Street, New London, CT 06320
Getting there: There is ample Street parking around Williams Park. Please read and comply with the parking signs surrounding the park and neighborhood.
SAFETY: We want everyone to enjoy the evening without incident. That said, we are in a public space with cross-traffic surrounding the park. Please keep the younger ones within sight and activities within our limited area.
