Cyanotype Printing with plants

In this 1.5 hour workshop you will be guided through the basics of compositional design, and participate in the beautiful, historical art of Cyanotype Printing! Cyanotype is the technique which originally gave engineers the term, “Blue Prints” as it was used to create copies of architectural plans. To achieve the print we will feature plants (leaves, flowers, stems, anything!) on paper and it will be exposed to UV light.  The exposed areas turn blue when the paper is developed in water, creating a negative image of the object revealing fantastic works of art.

Space is limited to 12 participants.
