Museum Registration Internship

The Museum Registrar Intern will support collections documentation and basic registrar functions under the guidance of the Assistant Registrar and collections staff. This internship is designed to provide practical experience for students or emerging professionals interested in museum collections, registration, and collections care. Interns will work closely with museum staff and gain exposure to multiple aspects of collections management in a small-museum setting. Due to the nature of this internship, no direct object handling is required or expected.

Learning & Engagement Internship

The Lyman Allyn Art Museum is pleased to offer a Learning & Engagement internship. Interns will support the Learning & Engagement team in planning and developing educational materials for museum audiences.

Lyman Allyn Art Museum seeks to deepen partnerships and communications with area college students. The intern will be responsible for planning and promoting 2-3 college student-focused programs to take place in Fall 2026 and early 2027. The intern will also assist the Learning & Engagement Department with other fall and winter programming. Interns will work closely with museum staff and gain exposure to multiple aspects of education and programs in a small-museum setting.
